Hey Brother,
An interesting thing happened
to my wife the other day. She and her mother were in our Jeep at Wal-Mart
in Union City, about 20 miles north from here. A black guy, maybe in his
twenties, came up and pecked on the window and said the following:
“I saw your vehicle in Martin
once before, and now here it is again. I don’t know, but it seems that the
Lord wants me to see your vehicle!”
Nearly choking up, he went on
to say:
“Do you have something that
you’re supposed to give me?”
Of course, she did. He was
given three or four tracts and also a cassette message on being washed in
the blood. Please pray for some fruit in this matter?

Hello Steve,
Just wanted to let you know
that I have had my truck covered with Scripture signs for over a month now,
even when I’m not at work, I leave my truck parked in the driveway (as a
witness to the neighborhood). I just go back from driving up north (I-75)
to Bluffton, OH & back. What a wonderful witnessing tool. I hope you may
have gotten a call or two because I have your phone # posted. I have not
had any negative responses yet (Praise the Lord!!!!), and have had several
positive responses. One fella even waved his Bible as he passed by. I just
wanted to send this letter to thank you again for this ministry. My wife
also has some on her car (but space is limited, unlike my truck). I love it
when I am stuck in traffic now!!!

Just letting you know another
praise report brother Steve that few people this week and last week gave me
the thumbs up when they read the signs on my brother’s car that I am
driving.
The Lord is using your signs
as I drive around. It’s like a “walking tract”.
There was even one day I was
driving in front of a Jehovah’s witness car. I noticed they did not want to
follow me too close since the back says “ye must be born again” . . .
LOL!!! :=)

Dear Bro. Steve,
Let me first say thank you for
your ministry of magnetic signs. The signs have been a blessing to me and
others that I know over the last several years. I often give away some of
mine to other Christians who ask about them or give them an order form to
get their own.
The signs work wonderfully in
getting the gospel out while driving or parked and they present many
opportunities to witness when getting out or getting into my vehicles when
others are present. I am sure, however, that you know this very well being
in “the business”.
I had thought sometime I might
try to find all my “dirty notes” left under my wiper blades and send them to
you. I think you would get a kick out of reading them. I actually have
received some nice notes from Christians too. I travel using a rental car
at least a couple times a year and I always pack my signs in my suitcase
when I have to catch a flight so I can use them when I get to my destination
and use a rental car. I know from experience that the signs draw attention
to the baggage handling security at airports. When alerted by the X-ray
machines or metal detectors, they often open my bags and get to see God’s
Word.
I am placing a larger sign
order today because for the first time I had them all stolen. I have
occasionally had one stolen and the one stolen the most is the one about
gays. This time though, they took them all.
Here’s the story. God’s going
to get His Word out even at the expense of loosing the signs. When the
signs all came up missing, I was parked in a city business parking deck in
the Akron area. When I noticed them all missing, I was upset and
immediately started looking in all the trash cans in the area but to no
avail. While looking through the trash cans at the last level of the
parking deck I was a police officer sitting in his cruiser. I approached
him and told him I just had something stolen from my vehicle and asked him
should I report it. He asked me if I had phoned in the theft yet to the
police department and since I hadn’t, he said he would phone the theft
report in manually to his police department. He asked me what was stolen
and I said magnetic signs. He said more than one and I said yes. He asked
me how many and I said about 35. He asked me to describe each one in detail
if I could so I began to quote each saying (i.e., not hope in the pope…, the
party in hell…, Jesus saves from hell, are you saved, and quoted the
scripture verses. He was trying to be real professional, but you could tell
he was feeling some conviction. He in turn radioed this information into
his dispatch to file the report. What a blessing to quote God’s Word and
hear it repeated by a government official. Anyhow, they never found my
signs so I have to replace them but at least God got His Word out two more
times, even after the signs were taken.
